“Rosacea”, often referred to as the rose
disease, is a common skin disease that causes facial redness and
the appearance of blood vessels. Multiple reasons trigger this
disease, which occurs as a result of a mix of hereditary and environmental
factors. Stress, being exposed to extreme heat, certain medications that induce
blood vessel dilation, spicy foods, and alcoholic beverages can cause this
disease. Treatment usually involves procedures aimed at preventing symptoms
from getting worse. Botox and laser applications, antibiotic-effective drugs,
oral and topical drugs are the treatment methods used to ease the symptoms of
this disease.
